Four Person Scramble with Handicap

Thursday, April 17, 2008 • Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail -Highland Oaks Golf Course • 904 Royal Parkway, Dothan, AL Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place— both Net and Gross. There will be a Hole-in-One Contest, a Ball Drop and Par 5 Poker, as well as door prizes.

Par 5 Poker Hand

$20 per hand -Best hand wins pot of $1,000! Participants receive a card at the Par 5 Poker registration table and then a card at each of the Par 5 holes. At the end of the tournament, the player with the best hand wins $1,000. In the case of a tie, those that are tied will cut cards – highest card will win.

Helicopter Ball Drop

helicopter $50 per ticket -Chance to win $5,000! Numbered golf balls corresponding to each sold ticket will be dropped from a helicopter prior to the start of the Five Star Credit Union Golf Classic. If more than one ball goes into the hole, winners will divide $5,000 equally. If no balls go into the hole, the ball closest to the hole wins $2,500!

The Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank is a non-profit warehouse in Dothan that collects, stores, sorts and then distributes food to non-profit agencies in Houston, Henry, Dale, Geneva and Coffee counties and surrounding areas. The Food Bank currently has 269 member agencies that receive food and then in turn distribute the food for free to needy and hungry people. Some well-known local agencies that utilize the Food Bank food include the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs, the Disabled American Veterans, the House of Ruth and many church pantries and soup kitchens, including Catholic Social Services, First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, the Dothan Rescue Mission and the American Red Cross.
