The highlight of this year’s festival will most certainly be the SNOW ZONE! This unique interactive activity will allow children the opportunity to play in freshly made snow right on Troy Street in Downtown Dothan. Snow activities will take place from 9:00 AM until Noon- bring your mittens and gloves! FREE!

Visits with Santa. Jolly ole’ St. Nick will be at the park on Foster Street from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM talking with good boys and girls and taking Christmas requests. Bring your camera if you like, or allow a professional to make your portrait for only $5. Free visits with Santa, photograph optional.

Live entertainmentall day long! Starting at 10:30 AM and continuing till dusk, the main stage on Foster Street will be alive with the sights and sounds of the holidays. From children singing Christmas carols, to a full band playing jazzy holidaytunes, there’s sure to be something that you like. FREE! Plus other live entertainment along Foster street for your enjoyment throughout the day!

Horse and Buggy Rides touring the streets and murals of Downtown Dothan. Leaving every 20 minutes from the Troy street parking lot (in front of the Steamboat mural). Cost is $3 per person, children 3 and under free, if riding in parents lap.

Christmas Shopping. Dozens of Arts and Crafts vendors will set up shop on Foster Street, creatingthe most unique shopping bazaar in all ofDothan.Artisans from around the region will bring in hand-made, original works of art, jewelry and provide excellent ideas for holiday giving. Browsing- FREE. Getting your shopping done early- PRICELESS!

Kids Activities and ornament making. Troy University will once again provide children’s activities and crafts under the big tent off Foster Street. Under close adult supervision, kids can make ornaments for the family tree, or donate them to be displayed on a public tree in Dothan. FREE!

Marshmallow Roasting at dusk. Under the supervision of the Dothan Fire Department, there will be a marshmallow roasting fire pit from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM. Marshmallows, sticks and cocoa to be provided. FREE!

Pet Fashion Extravaganza. Who has the best dressed pet? Come find out at the Pet Fashion Show on the Foster Street Stage. Contestants will pay a $5 entry fee to benefit "Save-A-Pet", and all can watch for free. Prizes for the best dressed and lots of fun for everyone!

Plus, there will be food vendors set up making delicious snacks and treats as well as several of the Downtown restaurants will be open for lunch that day. Bring the whole family, for an enjoyable way to kick off the Christmas season!
